Elephants Can Remember - Agatha Christie:
... am a huge fan of Agatha Christie and have read a huge number of her books but i have to say i was quite disapointed by Elephants can remember. i personally found the storyline quite dull and struggled to get all the way through. i also found the book slow moving and even when it did get going predictable and tedious. the story is set around mystery writer Ariadine Oliver and follows the tale of a real crime that ... The Rhinemann Exchange - Robert Ludlum ... Ludlum has written a number of exceptional spy thrillers. Some may say that he is the best author of them. Upon his death in 2001, he left behind a number of nearly finished manuscripts and even more plot outlines for books, which continue to be written by a ghost writer to this day and published in Ludlum s name. Written in 1974 at the heart of the Cold War, Ludlum s plot focuses on the exchange of diamonds and gyroscopic designs between the Allies and the Nazis in 1943. Sent to oversee the operation is David Spaulding, the A... Read the full review: Ludlum makes us wait then hits us with a belter! by pmcds |
