A Cross Stitcher's Countdown to Christmas is one of my favourite cross-stitch books. It's a hard-back book and it looks appealing and Christmassy as soon as you pick it up. The cover is very glossy and colourful and has lovely photos of some of the pieces you can create. The sheer quality feel of the book is enough to make it one of my more treasured books and I was distinctly annoyed when I spilt coffee on it the other day!
