Night Probe is a novel by Clive Cussler from the NUMA files. It was published in 1988 and is the sixth novel Cussler has written featuring Dirk Pitt. The story begins in 1914, two diplomats hurry home each carrying top secret documentation, however a collision with another ship and a train crash mean that neither return home and their documents are lost. I've become a big fan of Cussler's novels since I picked up Lost City ...

The novel is a little different from other books that I have previously read by Cussler, but as always I found it an enthralling ...
