Roald Dahl (Roald Dahl in general)
Member Name: djaaum
Advantages: Very informative Disadvantages: None Roald Dahl was a famous children author, his books such as Georges marvellous medicine and Danny the champion of the world. Some people will say that Roald Dahl hated little children and tried to scare them through his stories such as in the BFG, Matilda, The Witches, Charlie and the chocolate factory and of course the Enormous Crocodile. Some of Roald Dahl's books have been made into films where you can visualise the stories where the characters are brought to life. His books have been translated into over 34 languages and are a must for all children to grow up with. There is a Roald Dahl treasury but the downside of this book is that is has many extracts of his books and only a few full stories. There is a fantastic exhibition for Roald Dahl fans of all ages at the Bethnal Green Museum of childhood and the good news is that entry is free. Summary: What I think of Roald Dahl in general. |
