First of Hi Kevin sorry about the problem. I would like to say that i got extracts from the book "Boy" and a website about Roahld Dahl. Mainly his birthdate and about him. Sos.

I Remember when I picked up my first Roald Dahl book I was 10 ready to go to Spain. My family and I were waiting at the airport and then my mum said if I wanted a book to read on the plane. Of course I said no because any 10 year old boy would. I pleaded my mum to get me a game but she wasn’t having it so I gave in and my mum got me The Witches. When I was on the plane I was bored stiff mainly because of plastic food and nothing to do. So I got out the book and by the first chapter I knew this was going to be a good book. Unfortunately due to the holiday I didn’t read it again until I got home which was worth the wait. Because I liked that book so much I went and bought Charlie and the chocolate factory and after that book I bought another and another etc.

Roald Dahl was a great man born on September 13, 1916 in Wales, the son of Norwegian immigrants. (Kind of strange because I was born 16th September and im part welsh but my parents are both English but sometimes they do talk rubbish)

Dahl became a writer during World War II, when he recounted in a short story his adventures as a fighter pilot for the Royal Air Force.

After establishing himself as a writer for adults, Dahl began writing children's stories in 1960 while living in England with his family. His first two novels, James and the Giant Peach and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, are now considered classics and both have been made into blockbuster films. He was the winner of England's two most distinguished literary awards, the Whitbread Prize and the Children's Book Award, and seventeen of his works are perennial bestsellers. (Maybe his books could inspire be to write great novels (Naaa)).

Throughout his life, Dahl took great joy in hearing from his rea
ders. He loved nothing more than to know he was entertaining them, as well as instilling in them a love of reading and books. Dahl once said, "I know what children like." His stories are proof positive that he was right. Roald Dahl passed away on November 23, 1990.

It is a shame he died because he would have definitely created more masterpieces.

Am I telling you to read his books yes I am because each one is as good as each other.

This opinion is for Peakly because he said that I could write a good opinion so if you do get to read this let me know. Its a step in the right direction.:-)

Since posting this, I have spoken to the person involved, Shauny. They have told me that they quoted portions of text from a Roald Dahl book, thus it being plagarised as he hasn't quoted sources etc.

This he assures me was a genuine mistake, he is now updating the op to make clear that quotations were used a lot.

Report to Dooyoo Police withdrawn.
