Advantages: wide range of titles to choose from, best place I found to get them from was WH Smiths

Disadvantages: SOOOOOO hard to put down!!

I used to hate reading, and I still do if I'm honest! But Roald Dahl books are the only books I've really read and enjoyed!

The books I love and still read every now and then are, Matilda, in which a little girl is really clever and her parents are horrid to her! she plays pranks on them as well as other things, she sticks her Dad's hat to his head! and it has a lovely ending...
B.F.G, (I loved this one when I was young!) James and the giant peach, Twits, George's marvoulas Medicine, just to name a few.
But one that stuck in my mind was 'Boy'. This book is one that Roald Dahl wrote about himself when he was older, about when he was a child! Some of the things he wrote in this book were so unthinkable! like putting a dead mouse in a jar of sweets in his local sweet shop!
I just think he was a great author. I have loved all the books I've read by him, and they are just so full of surprise. I find, I can never put the book down! they are all so absorbing!
I would recommend that any one with children get his books for your children!! It will encorage them to read!! they are that addictive!
I've not put a price below as the prices differ from shop to shop, but I think most of the books are around £5.99 ish!
