This is quite possibly the funniest book I have ever read. I'm not usually one of those people who laughs out loud but when I was reading this book I did. The book is the diary of a teenage girl named Georgia. She writes all about her life, her family, her friends and her first experience of romance. These books are aimed at teenagers but as an adult I can tell you that if you have ever been a teenage girl you will be able to relate to these books and that for me made them even funnier. Georgia has a habit of getting herself into embarassing situations and I can totally see myself at her age in the same situations. Angus, thongs and full frontal snogging, you may think that this is a sex book designed for women over the age of 16 from the title, but it is actually a teenage comedy book, (but you would be right in thinking that it is a women’s book) about a cat that cannot control who he gets pregnant (Angus the cat), thongs - seeing your enemy wear them, and never having snogged a member of the opposite sex before; so that you go insane and end up having snogging lessons from someone you don’t like so much. This is the third book in what is now a series of 4 teenage books, by comic-turned-hit authoress Louise Rennison. I really liked the first, ANGUS, THONGS, AND FULL-FRONTAL SNOGGING, and will be reviewing it as soon as it is on the site, but I must forewarn, this third book is really not so good. The original was a female Adrian Mole, with as many recognisable worries as a certain other female diarist... It covered practically a whole school year in the angsty life of one 13-year old Georgia Nicolson. And one of the flaws of the third book is that it merely covers 6 weeks.
