I have read a lot of Dean Koontz and this is one of my favourites and from time to time I go back and read it again, which I do with a few of the books I like, Lightning by Dean Koontz is another one. This book tells the story of Spencer Grant, a loner with only his dog for company. He has an obsession with a woman called Valerie and sits outside her house on a night. By doing this one night he rescues her from a secretive agency who break into her house. This story takes you on a cat and mouse journey with an agent called Roy Miro, who is an assassin who thinks that the people he has killed he is helping by doing so.
