I have given you a description of the story that differs quite a bit from the blurb on the back of the book, because that didn't give you a real scope of the book. 'Daughters of the Grail' has a considerable timespan, ranging from the death of Bridget's mother at the book's start in 1207 to Bridget's own daughter settling down (and that's all I'm giving away!) in 1245. 'Daughters of the Grail' is a novel written by Elizabeth Chadwick. Chadwick is a historical novelist with works based in Medieval Europe, specifically France or England. I had read her book 'The Greatest Knight' before and really enjoyed it, so when I saw 'Daughters of the Grail' at my university market's book stall and recognised the art cover and author I knew I had to take a look.
