I borrowed this book from my boyfriend when we went on holiday last summer. He was really loving the story and was urging me to read it as he was sure I'd love it just as much... He was right! This book can be bought in most book stores, online at Amazon and other places, so prices may vary. I've seen them listed for a penny on Amazon market place but also sold for about 12 pounds in book shops on the high street... so it depends where you shop.

This book actually has many stories in it.. Firstly, there's the main story named after the title "Strange Highways" and then there are loads of short stories, some are 5 pages, others 15 pages long.

The main story, in my opinion, was awesome and I can see why my boyfriend thought I had to read it straight away and we took turns with the book. The story is about a man who leads a miserable life and is haunted by nightmares but get a second chance to make things right when he returns home.

The book had me on the edge of my seat, pretty much all the way through. It is written in a very captivating and fluent way and he has an extremely varied vocabulary. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves horror and suspense. The short stories are also very entertaining and ideal for shorter journeys.
