Death Note Volume 3 is the continuation of the death note manga series. It is rated for older teens and is part of the shonen jump advanced collection. The story is by Tsugumi Ohba and the art is by Takeshi Obata. The two main characters in the series at this point are Light Yagami and L. Light Yagami is a brilliant student who discovers a death note which was dropped in to the human world by the shinigami Ryuk. He decides to use this death note to rid the world of evil and so he begins killing criminals and becomes known to the world as Kira. This review is about volume 3 of the Death Note series published by Viz Media and part of the Shonen Jump Advanced books. The story is by Tsugumi Ohba and the art is by Takeshi Obata. Death Note is rated for older teens. The book is in the classic right-to-left style of most popular Japanese manga and all the artwork is in black and white with caption or speech bubbles. Volume three is subtitled 'Hard Run' and has a blue cover depicting Ryuk, the Shinigami. Brilliant art, enthralling storyline, story recap at the beginning and an excellent series. The plot changes direction - could be a positive or a negative thing.
