When Carole is forced to change her hairdresser to a more local one, she doesn't expect to become involved in another murder. Yet involved she does become when she witnesses the owner find her assistant, Kyra, dead in the back room. The obvious suspect is Kyra's boyfriend, Nathan, who just happens to have gone missing. Carole and her friend and sleuthing partner, Jude, become involved in the investigation, and get to know Nathan's family a bit better than they would have liked; certainly they suspect that they may know more about Nathan's disappearance than they are lettingon.
