Dan Brown - Deception Point
After reading The Da Vinci Code I got a bit of a Dan Brown bug and went hunting for more of his books, and was delighted after I found this one.
Rachael Sexton a data analyist working for the government is sent to the artic to be part of a team to analyse a groundbreaking disovery. Meanwhile a fierce debate is being fought between President Zachary Herney and Senator Sedgewick Sexton (Rachael's father) whom is running for the presidency. In the artic Michael Trolland (a famous oceanographer) and Rachael begin to find that things aren't always as they seem, and make a discovery that will have a massive impact on the upcoming elections. These stories run brilliantly parrallel to each other, until they come crashing together in a way that no one would expect.
The whole book only covers a time period of a few days, which makes the book really past paced and it is a compulsive page turner.
Along with Angels and Demons, this is my favourite Dan Brown books. If you are a fan then this is a must read!
Summary: Another cracking book from Dan Brown
