OK, I'm going to have to confess. I did not pick this book out because I knew all about the author or had read previous books, saw a review and was intrigued or any other interesting reason. I read it because it was yet another from a random box set I had bought. The only thing I may say is that I picked it before others in the set because it had prettier cover. Bad start? I guess. On the whole, Suleyman is far more repressed as a character than Ikmen, but the pair of them work well together and I have grown very fond of them over the course of the books I have read.
