Delia Smith?s book of cakes. This is my favourite cake book. I bought my first copy in 1980. It was first published in 1978. I say my first copy because it was so well used you could taste the cakes on every page (me being sloppy) and a couple of pages fell out. I replaced it with a new copy, which I have covered in ?sticky backed plastic? and have made a clear wipe clean page to put over the recipe pages. I also bought one for sleepy dormouse a couple of years back. The book . Mine is a paperback copy, my first was a hardback. The one I have cost me £12.99 it was bought about 2 years ago.
