      Well worth reading.

I have already read a couple of David Baldacci books before and enjoyed them so I was really pleased when I received this book for christmas.

I realised that it was a follow up to The Whole Truth which I haven't read but this doesn't affect your enjoyment of the book as it is a separete story involving Shaw and to a lesser extent Katie James.

The book starts with a murder in Brazil of an elderly Nazi war criminal, who is murdered because of his past war crimes. The reasons for the murder are explained and the group responsible are introduced to us including Reggie who becomes one of the main characters of the book. Their next target is decided upon and the reason for choosing this Russian war criminal become clear.

Shaw is also given the mission to capture the same Russian, who is now a Canadian business man. Both Shaw and Reggie decide the best place to excecute their plan is when the Canadian is in Provence on holiday. The scene is now set for the different agendas of the two and how Reggie and Shaw meet and become involved with each other and how this affects each of their well laid plans.

Shaw is told to leave Provence but doesn't and Reggie plans fails and then the two of them with the help of Reggies group follow the Canadian to USA and Canada. Katie James becomes involved as the Canadian tries to find Shaw and Reggie.

There is an action packed finale with a few unexpected twists.

This is a great book and well worth reading if you enjoy action. The plot is great with many twists in it and is different to his Camel Club series but is similar in the fact that the characterization is very good and you care for the people involved in the book.
