Anyone that's a regular reader of my reviews will know I'm a big fan of the Horrible Histories series . So, when on a browse round the local charity shops I spotted some books from the Horrible Geography and Horrible Science book series, I snapped them up . Although written by different authors and illustrated by different people , they are published under the same Scholastic umbrella, so I figured they might be somewhat similar . This book, from the Horrible Geography collection, entitled 'Desperate Deserts' , is written by Anita Gameri and illustrated by Mike Phillips .
