I have always found it very difficult to stick to diets and have always been overweight :(. I have a terrible sweet tooth and am addicted to cheese, which I'm sure you agree are two things usually frowned upon by slimmers! I was having trouble sleeping and drinking lots of strong coffee to keep me going through the day. I just generally felt miserable and was feeling depressed. Suddenly it is fasionable to detox. Carole Vorerman is selling videos telling you how. This is the original and best detox programme, it is not a diet, it is not designed to help you lose weight. The review, 'The Woman is a Sadist', is absolutely nothing to do with this book. I have this book and have followed the detox many times. There are so many inaccuracies in the previous review that I can not see how this person is relating it to this book. What is outlined as the 3 day detox in the review, is not even in this book! I agree that it is hard work to get thorugh the 30 days, however, it is all about timing and being organised. You CAN eat fish, You CAN eat Non-diary (e.g. goats or sheeps yoghurt, milk or cheese such as chevre, real Feta, Roquefort and soy or rice milk), you CAN eat potatoes, you CAN eat rice.
