Wide Eyed and Legless was the title given to the film version of this book. I think that it would have been a great title to the book too. The similarity of title between that book and "Diana's Story" is the only explanation that anyone has been able to come up with as to why the author was suddenly slapped in the middle of a book signing. The only explanation given by the upset female reader gave was "That's for ruining people's lives!" before storming off and vanishing. The subject matter is very definitely not a cheerful one. The bok gives us a glimpse of what is actually involved in living with a chronic debilitating illness. ... Read the complete review
