Noah is a keen lover of the Margaret Mayo and Alex Aycliffe books as they are all based around vehicles. He is a very typical boy and loves anything of the sort. When ever we go to the library he also picks out this book but they don't seem to have it in a soft backed version so I don't tend to borrow it as it's a little young for him. The book is all about working vehicles like tractors and diggers and dump trucks. It doesn't have a story that has a beginning middle and end, instead it prints a different vehicle on each page and tells the reader what each one does. "Dig, Dig, Digging", as the title would suggest, is a book for young children based around the toddler favourite, the digger, as pictured on the front cover but featuring a number of other working vehicules. I have previously written about another book in this series of three by Margaret Mayo, "Choo Choo, Clickety Clack", if you have read that book and enjoyed or then you are bound to enjoy this book to and find it instantly familiar, but this book is very enjoyable in its own right too.
