Right where philosophy started. A little book that has so many expectations built upon it, that it's bound to be bring some disappointments. Like pretty much everyone in his age, he combines this amazing ability to doubt everything boldly - but builds on his doubt a whole shifting religious structure that brings in all sorts of unspoken assumptions. But then: this remains one of the most beautifully written of philosophy of all time, crisp and clear after 350 years, even if you disagree.
