Dog’s Day is a lovely children’s book written by Jane Cabrera aimed at the under 3s. The author Jane Cabrera has written many children’s books and they are characterised by their bright colourful pictures. She specialises in books for the younger child. She writes and illustrates her books herself, having originally been a book designer before she became a successful children’s writer. Her other books include “Over in the Meadow” and “The Polar Bear and The Snow Cloud” amongst others. ****Story**** This story is a day in the life of Dog, a young spotty dog (I assume a Dalmatian but I haven’t seen his pedigree papers so can’t be sure!). ...

The who story from beginning to end sounds like what I say every week to myself he word "Fat", why couldnt it be big?

A good flk-tale from a different culture. Younger children may take the story too literally!
