Advantages: a beautiful story

Disadvantages: makes me cry

Dave a little boy has a stuffed toy dog called Dogger who he loves very much and takes everywhere with him, wholst out one day he looses Dogger, they search high and low for him but cant find him anywhere.

On the day of the fete Dave sees Dogger for sale on a stall but doesnt have the money to buy him so goes off to find his sister to ask her to buy him back for him but as they return to the stall Dogger has just been sold to another little girl.

Dave is destraught but his sister saves the day.

This is a lovely book but it makes me cry every time i read it, i know im too old to be being silly now but i cant help it.
I lost a little toy monkey when i was little, he was my favorite and i truley believe that that scared me for life.
This is a beautiful story with a happy ending.

Summary: a lovely book
