Jacqueline Wilson is without a doubt one of my favourite childhood authors. There's something special about her style that appeals to me, and many others too. Double Act is just one of her many great books. In Double Act, twins Ruby and Garnet are identical twins. Their mother died a few years back and now their dad has a new partner.
