Jaquline Wilson has got to be my all time faveorite childhood author. I read Double act when i was about 9 and thouroughly enjoyed it. The book is brilentley writen and definatly makes you giggle. The charactores, Ruby and garnet are twins.Identical. They do everything together, especially since there mother died three years earlier. The twins, there father and there farthers new girlfrien Rose are moving to start a new life together in the countrey, and get up to all sortes off mischeif. i recomend this book for children ages 8-12 ... although can be fun to read for older children aswell. I thourouley enjoyed this book and hope yopu will too ... Also i love the ... Read the complete review

I'll admit that maybe there is a bit of me which is slightly embarrassed that I still find Jacqueline Wilsons books good to read, despite the fact that in the inside of the book it says they're aimed at 7-10 year olds. Whilst Ruby is loud, mischevious, slightly bossy and extroverted, Garnet is ... Read the complete review

They move house too, and when an opportunity to be in a show about twins come up, they go along to the audition, one more sheepishly than the other. Things are changing around them, but will they change too? This book is aimed at children around the age of 10-12, and deals with real-life issues, as does most of ... Read the complete review
