... sunshine year round, beaches, lakes, shopping malls and cool little cafes and discos. The kids always go to the Dairi burger after school - for skinny chicks, they sure do eat a lot. They must spend half of their allowance on burgers. The books are a mix of everyday school life (albeit an improbably glamorous one) and slightly more zany stories - being lost at sea, foiling kidnappers, crashing airplanes, and winning nationwide competitions often. Despite their silliness (or perhaps because of it?) these books have ...more

*I suggested "Sweet Valley High books" to Dooyoo, but they have directed me to this book, the first in the series. I'm afraid I'm going to rebel and just bang on about the series as a whole. Now this book has definitely interested me into the "Sweet Valley High" Series, and I'm pretty sure there are at least 70 books in the series so I might be reviewing every single one and eventually I'd have read all of them. Problem is, is trying to get the books due to the fact that there are many different series varying from "Sweet Valley High" - "Sweet Valley Twins" - "Sweet Valley High Super Star" etc. Thankfully I had started this book now, because there is this series which I hope to finish sometime and then there's all the others which have quite a few books in the series, I'm 100% sure that "Sweet Valley Twins" ...  Read the complete review
