Katie Flynn lives in the northwest , many of her early stories were broadcast on radio mersey and she has written other books as Judith Saxton. As with a lot of her books Such Sweet Sorrow is set during 2nd world war in Liverpool. ~Marianne ~ Marianne seems to have it all a lovely house , a husband called Neil and young daughter called Libby. Marianne loves her husband and daughter and cares very much about her family. When war breaks out and Libby is sent to wales Marianne decides that she should take on war work which she enjoys. ...
