 ... structured, and not strong enough to support the authors style. I do think Mr Twigger is a very promising writter, however I don't think this will be remembered as his best work. The book reminds me a little of Brechtian theatre, in that the plot was thorough, and I was interested in the novel, but I did not feel any connection to any of the characters. I found this book fascinating. It is a fantasy in a way, in that it does not reflect the life experience of 99.9% of people. What this book is is a fractured and unique take on life, and I found the style really entrancing. The story is less well structured, and not strong enough to support the authors style. I do think Mr Twigger is a very promising writter, however I don't think this will be remembered as his best work. The book reminds me a little of Brechtian theatre, in that the plot was thorough, and I was interested in the novel, but I did not feel any connection to any of the characters. The action sequences always well written Can be a bit biased at times, but was written in 1933 so I think we can be lenient
