Each letter has a great rhyming text to go with it, for examples there are; * Big Q little q what begins with Q? the quick Queen of Quincy and her quacking quacker-oo * Big N little n what begins with those? Nine new neckties and a nightshirt and a nose I will not ruin in and give you all the letters ...hehe!! Although I probably could just by memory.....mummy taught the Seuss ABC as well...hehe!! As many of you know myself and my family love Dr Seuss books. This was one of the first books I brought as its much better than you mediocre ABC books we all buy our kids....you know which ones I mean a for apple b for ball c for cat d for dog etc etc...I'm not knocking them or anything as whatever helps educate our children is great, but this book is such good fun that I think they take it in better, and also helped my son with the letter association rather than just memorising a for apple b for ball etc etc. The book is in the usual zany Dr Seuss style with loads of nonsense words, but is such good food. This is a book that my youngest daughter (aged 3) was given on her sister's birthday, so she didn't feel left out by her sister getting a load of pressies! Needless to say she was really pleased to get a present! My kids are avid fans of Dr Seuss (as am I) and find that his books are easy to read and really enjoyable. I have previously reviewed Green Eggs and Ham, which is a firm favourite in our house, even to the point of the kids asking for green eggs and ham for their tea!
