Dragons of Winter night is the second book in the dragonlance series from the authors Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. The series of books came directly from AD&D and dungeon and dragon first person player games. Weis and Hickman set put to write a set of stories based on the games they had been playing with their friends which spawned the famous dungeons and dragons franchise. They wrote a Tolkein style novel based on a planet called Krynn, Krynn is a pre-medieval society with all the classic components for a fantasy novel - Elves, dragons, wizards, Gods, dwarves, knights, and waring human tribes.
