I wish that I’d read this book as a teenager. It would have become my bedside bible. DB has all the ingredients of a cult classic: a grisly murder, plenty of drugs, hackers, poltergeists, graphic sex and New Orleans. And in the middle of it all a surprisingly touching love story. Drawing Blood starts with Bobby McGee, an underground cartoonist stranded in a small Bible Belt town of Missing Mile, with his wife and two sons.
