In his debut novel, Harlan Coben introduced us to his charismatic hero, the sports agent/private investigator Myron Bolitar. The plot was simple yet effective, and it was more of a novel that tested the waters of the crime thriller genre in the hope of some success. The novel was called Deal Breaker, and I found it very enjoyable. In his second novel, also featuring the hero Bolitar, Coben further develops the character at the same time as giving him another juicy crime to get himself involved in.
