The story contains alliteration, with tortoise "munching mushrooms on the mound" and goose "gobbling grass by the gate" as a couple of examples. Littlest HonestBob (22 months) likes this story and points to the various animals telling me their names.

This is a first jigsaw book. It is a thick card book, sturdily made and full of solid colour illustrations. The left hand side page generally consists of a picture of Duckie ( simply drawn white duck) and the text to the story while the right hand side holds a two piece jigsaw. The story is a simple one.
