This is a first jigsaw book. It is a thick card book, sturdily made and full of solid colour illustrations. The left hand side page generally consists of a picture of Duckie ( simply drawn white duck) and the text to the story while the right hand side holds a two piece jigsaw. The story is a simple one. It's time for lunch and while Duckie pecks at some pondweed she wonders what her friends were eating. She then visits each of her friends to find out what they are eating.
