Earthsearch is without doubt one of those books that for those in the know is a very well kept secret on a very good series of stories that have so far spaned 10 1 hour radio plays, 3 books and soon to be a major TV series. This book in the Earthsearch series, starts the whole thing going and start in such away that you will find yourself late for meals and the like. The story is about a group of travellers looking for Earth and the events that they get tied up in. It is set very far into the future. Lack of a human element Great storyline, Some slight differences to the film Depends if you like the film or not... A very smooth transition from adult fiction to young adult. Realistic characters, fast paced plot. Drags a little in places, cliffhanger ending.
