Her writing style struck me as extremely self-indulgent as everything was about me, me, me. I suppose this is natural in an autobiography - however she really took this to an extreme and instead of offering up insights into her experiences she spent so much time in the beginning of the book talking about her own personality traits, whining about how hard her life had been recently, and bragging...more

Crowned Review Eat, Pray, Love - Elizabeth Gilbert: Eat Pray Love? It starts off like Me, Me, Me (1004 words)

She loves the sound of the Italian language and wants to learn it so ...  Read the complete review

A moving personal account of a true hero. Easy, conversational style. If I'm being very picky, it "only" covers his combat experiences.
