As you may have known already, I have quickly become a big fan of Stephenie Meyer. I have decided to prevent myself from getting too caught up in the Twilight novels, and so therefore I have a break between the books, and the only time I get around to reading them is if the film is on its way out. For instance, this book has been on my shelf for a few months, maybe even a year, and I never got around to reading it until the film was released at the cinemas, by the time I had finished it, I had arranged with friends to go and see it at the cinema, and I'm going to do that with the last and final book: Breaking Dawn. Stephenie Meyer is now a highly paid author, ... Read the complete review

OK, so I couldn't help myself, so I liked 'New Moon' more than 'Twilight' and I wanted to know what happened next, so I moved onto Eclipse. The Plot: Jacob hasn't given up the fight for Bella, he is even prepared to fight dirty, but so is Edward. The question is will Bella realise that, no matter how much she loves Edward, Jacob is the path her life would have taken if it wasn't for the existence of monsters? And will she give in to Edward's righteousness and do things the proper way to save her soul; will she be his wife? And in more horrifying news: an army of newborn vampires is growing in the nearby city of Seattle, and it ... Read the complete review

Another Twilight fan- yawn, its true I am addicted, The Twilight Series is my guilty pleasure, once a fortnight I treat myself to watching Twilight then New Moon clutching pillow when required, hankies at the ready. This all came about when I was given a copy (on loan only!) of Twilight the first novel in Stephenie Meyer's series. I read it within a day and wanted more. It is useful to have read Twilight and New Moon (in that order) first before reading Eclipse, because Meyer doesn't revisit the story-lines of the previous novels but jumps straight in to the story. Twilight and New Moon are also super novels. Eclipse is in essence a romantic saga, Bella and Edward's . Read the complete review

Eclipse is the third book in the Twilight saga, written by Stephenie Meyer. Although a novel within its own right, it is very much the continuation of the angst ridden love story between Bella and Edward. If you have read the series up until this point no doubt you will be hooked, I certainly was. In case you are still unsure of what to expect from this book here is an overview. Picking up from the end of the last novel, New Moon, after reuniting with Edward, Bella forces his hand to agree to her being turned into a vampire. His only condition to this is that Bella has to wait at least till Graduation. Settling back into life in Forks, Bella and ... Read the complete review

Eclipse is the third and penultimate book of the 'Twilight' saga written by Stephenie Meyer. Having read the first two books I was really eager to read this book as quickly as possible so I could finally finish the story and get on with my life, these books have taken over my social life because I just couldn't put them down! Just to warn you this review will contain things from the previous two books so please don't read this if you intend to read the other two books! It really would be impossible to tell you what happens in this story without giving away what happens in the other two books! The Book -------------- The book ... Read the complete review
