If you have read any of my other reviews you can probably tell by now I am bit of a Twilight fanatic!! I can't compare this book to the others as I havent read them yet. This is the first book from the Twilight Saga I have read.

After watching The New Moon on DVD I decided I couldn't wait untill June for Eclipse the film to come out so thought I would carry on the film with the book!!

Eclipse is the third installment following on from The New Moon.

After the pain Bella and Edward went through after there seperation and there near death miss with Volturi (vampire royalty). Edward agrees as per Bellas wish to turn her into a vampire however under the condition as requested by Edward that she marry him first. Edward also wants to postpone the "change" untill she has graduated.

The book continues as graduation is coming round more quickly than she expected and she has to go through the heartbreak of what she is going to miss out on and what it will do to her family. But deep down this is all she wants, to be with Edward and does not want to live without him.

Besides from Edward, Jacob Black ( Bellas best friend & werewolf!) is still on the case and wants Bella to choose him over Edward and is doing anything to make that happen. He trys to show her what life would be like if she were to choose him, as she wouldnt have to give up her family or her life...

With the romance part to the side there is a some action in this book!! There are a series of murders in Seattle, which Edward Cullern and his family know are vampires, but newborn vampires...someone is creating them, but who??!! They have try and stop these killings as they also have reason to believe they are coming after Bella...

Edward is also worried because if the murders continue the Volturi will soon come to town, which the Cullerns do not want as following on from New Moon no humans are to know they (vampires) exist and they gave Bella one chance to leave without them killng her as they saw an image of her in the future as a vampire. If they come back again and see her still human they wont give her a second chance....

I really loved this book could not put it down! What I thought was really good is that the author goes into backgrounds of Edwards family introducing us as to how they became vampires and there history.

I love the story between Edward, Bella and Jacob, I think the author is great portraying the chracters emotions.

I have now started reading the last book (huge!) Breaking Dawn which I have only read a bit of and have already gobsmaked by some of the things that have happened..but wont go into that untill ive finished it and ill then do a review!

Sooo excited for the film of this to be released!! A great book!
