fpsninja AS Level Business Studies Revision Guide - Richard Parsons: ... revision guide from the CGP group goes over topics in the as course, and includes the content from all the syllabuses. Whats more, the book has birght diagrams, and spaced out paragraphs, and the odd joke or two, which makes reading from this book feel like less of a chore. However, because of this, the book doe snot contain all the content. I personally use this revision book jsut to remind myself of the topic...

Suzanne124 AS Psychology: AQA A Revision Guide - Richard Parsons
... out in order for the new syllabus in section, the as psychology C G P revision guide is perfect for those starting the subject. I have always loved C G P because it covers everything you need to know and in a mildly entertaining way and clearly set out too. The flow of humor running throughout the book does make revision that much easier so i definitely recommend the purchase. Its also good for reference when doing your homework for example or during class. It has practice questions too. Due to the separation techniques by the writer its really easy to make notes from the guide when revising and picking out key information. Any especially important points or senta...

friendofmaddo Revise for Statistics: No. 1 - Greg Attwood
... book is designed to back up the main S1 textbook for the S1 module, also produced by Heinemann. This book goes through the chapters of the main textbook, assuming you have just finished the module and are now recapping for revision. It highlights the main points in each chapter and does this well- it is exactly what you need to know in the exam. It also contains relevant questions, which can help you if you are searching for practice before the exam. In the main module book, you get any questions easing you into the topic, so it is harder to pick out ones to do as preparation. However, neither of the books are stimulating in any way. The format is just black and whi...

... am taking my ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music)Grade 1 theory paper next week. I m 43. The same day, my two youngest daughters are doing their Grade 5. They are 14 and 12 and I m feeling dim! In line with ABRSM policy, they need their Grade 5 theory before they are allowed to be entered into their Grade 6 practical on their instrument of choice. In their case, cello and violin, respectively. I just need my grade 1 to give me the confidence in ploughing ahead towards grade 3, then 5 (no point sitting them all is there - that would be masochistic, surely?) so that I too can go on to my Grade 6 and beyond with piano. You see, one day, when I ...
