I'd never heard of Elmer until my neighbour gave me a bag of books for my 14 month old granddaughter, but she loves this book so much that I've since done some research and found he is actually a very popular little elephant! Elmer is a bright colourful patchwork elephant and my granddaughter absolutely loves him. Elmer looks fantastic, he is a typical cartoon elephant that babies and young children will instantly warm to but it's the patchwork which really catches my granddaughters eye because the colours are so bright and they all clash wonderfully!
