This book by Margaret Mayo with illustrations by Alex Ayliffe is aimed at younger readers. Having thoroughly enjoyed the other two books in this series, which I have reviewed elsewhere on this site ("Dig, Dig, Digging" and "Choo Choo Clickety Clack"), I was really pleased to acquire this book from a School Fair, and complete our set. The book features different emergency vehicles, from Police Cars, Ambulances, to the ever popular with toddlers fire engine. Noah got some money for Easter and rather than spend it on an Easter egg, we decided to encourage his love of books and take a trip to WHSmith to see what they had on offer. He is a keen lover of anything to do with cars and vehicles so I knew this one would be a winner. The book is written by Margaret Mayo and illustrated by Alex Ayliffe. It was published in 2002 by Orchard Books and won the Sainsburys Baby Book Award for Boo Barney. The book doesn't have a story that flows throughout like most children's books.
