... small paragraphs that can be dipped in and out of (once you have read the book through). I find that the book has an answer to most of my problems and can easily put me back on the right mind set. It does not take long to realise that you are enough as you are, and not when you're slimmer, less depressed, closer to family or have got that promotion. The teachings give you the freedom to accept yourself as you are NOW and enjoy life. It does not promise to make life miraculously free of problems but gives you ...more

A fantastic book and the top of my mind and spirit books list. This book allows you to gently come to terms with the everyday struggles in life and realise that you are not on your own in any of this. It explains why we have all these desires and when achieved do not bring the feelings of fulfilment that we had expected, leaving us deflated and searching. Through exercises and the expressions of simple affimations (ways of talking to yourself) this book guides you to a true sense of happiness. By taking away the importance of future plans and worries you can learn to appreciate the simple everyday things that can really grind us down. Susan Jeffers ...  Read the complete review

If you are on a path to creating more peace, joy and fulfillment in your life, then I would recommend this book as an inspirational addition to your own work. If you are not yet on this path, this book will give you the gentle nudge you need to ...  Read the complete review
