Enduring Love -a poor finish (Enduring Love - Ian McEwan)

Advantages: excellent opening Disadvantages: poor ending
I found that the opening chapter of this book is nothing short of amazing. I just wasn’t able to stop reading it. It's a fantastic opening to a good book. I did think however that the first part of the book was better than the second half. The principal characters are all created very well with each having a separate and distinct voice. The letters in the book are especially chilling. I thought the climax unfolded a little too slowly, and the final confrontation was a little too easy. Summary: |
