CONTROVERSY CREATES CASH is the autiobiography of Eric Bischoff. Bischoff is famous in the wrestling world for been the man behind WCW in the nineties when it was becoming more poular than the WWF. Consequently the book doesn't feature much of Bischoff growing up which I liked as celebrities as children is hardly ever entertaining in books. Bischoff explains how he got into WCW and his dealings with owner Ted Turner. The relationship between these two men is interesting as they argued constantly. Bischoff talks of his excitement when WCW was at his peak and on the brink of overtaking WWF. The part on the Monday Night Wars is fascinating as ... Read the complete review

This is his story and, unsurprisingly, the overwhelming majority of it deals with his time at WCW, going into great detail over the boardroom struggles Bischoff had at Turner, and the storylines he created for the group's ground-breaking television show, Nitro. Herein, I feel, lies the problem. The book falls between two stools. Only the ... Read the complete review
