Having read Silent Witness by this same Author, I decided to find and read another of his books. This one. Terri is a mother who leaves, with her 6 year old daughter Elena, an emotionally abusive husband. She then falls into a custody battle with him. He ends up being murdered. Unfortunately, the man who she subsequently falls in love with ends up being accused of doing the dirty deed. Did he or didn't he do it? I find Mr Patterson's style of writing one that is compelling, you can't leave the book alone till you have finished it.
