Here we go, my first dooyoo opinion, and although it is on a book, I just thought I?d better warn you: I know nothing about ?literature?, I?ve not read loads, I don?t know all the proper terminology. I just like what I like, so this is my personal opinion of the book, not an in-depth analysis. You?ve been warned. Andrew Harman: I thought of comparing Andrew Harman?s (AH) style to that of Terry Pratchett (TP) but on second thoughts, I think that would be unjust. Fahrenheit 666 is comic fantasy but that is about where the similarity ends between AH and TP. Everybody needs a holiday, and according to Harman, demons are no exception. There’s an important election going on in Mortropolis, the busiest city in Hell. Nabob, our main character has put himself forward to become undertaker-in-chief of Mortropolis and all he has to do his offer a better bribe to the foul Lord d’abaloh Than Serrezim can, And that’s not as easy as it first sounded. This is the fifth book by Harman Who although lesser known than Pratchett, Rankin…etc still produces some brilliantly comical books such as this.
