This Book has many qualities- adventure,Romance and extreme bravery. It is about a crew of the RAF in the Second World War. It tells of a Wellington which crashes in occupied France. The captain injures his arm, and eventually loses it. It is a tear jerking journey to a French farm, where a family which risks almost everything the have , even there lives takes them in, and nurses them back to health. The captain falls in Love with a French Girl, Who rescues him and takes him on an epic journey back to England, This book is not for the Feint hearted, or for younger readers.
