Garden of Eden -Faye Kellerman
by sunmeilan - written on 13/11/07 (Very useful, 89 readings)
Rating:
Two of the stories have been written in conjunction with Kellerman s children. The first is based on the story of Jack the Ripper and is written with Jesse Kellerman, Faye s son. Although the premise of the story is good, I didn t like the way it was written - it seemed childish and naive. What made it worse was the speaking language used - it is clear that neither writers have any idea of how to transpose English as it is spoken in England. For example, I am goin to bring some spirits. I ll bring y back a pint...oh would ye...thankee... This really annoyed me and I found it most off-putting. The second story is written with daugthers, Rachel and Ilana. About a ...

The Forgotten - Faye Kellerman
by eleanorofnaboo - written on 03/04/02 (Very useful, 52 readings)
Rating:
This is only the second of Faye Kellerman's books I have read and I have thoroughly enjoyed them both, now to start at the beginning and go back and read the rest of the series! The Forgotten is by Faye Kellerman (wife of the famous Jonathan Kellerman, a favourite author of mine!) and it published in paperback by headline. It is marked as £5.99 but I picked it up in either Woolworths or Tesco for £3.99 - which is what makes it even better!! :0) ...

Stalker - Faye Kellerman
by jayne30 - written on 20/03/01 (Useful, 61 readings)
Rating:
Stalker by Faye Kellerman Most of Faye Kellerman’s books feature Peter Decker, a Jewish detective in the LAPD. Stalker, the most recent of the series, takes the slightly different viewpoint of his daughter Cindy Decker. Newly out of the police academy we follow her as she tries to gain the respect of her colleagues in her own right, not an easy job since her father has risen to Lieutenant in the next district with a reputation that is hard to live up to. After a series of car jackings Cindy becomes involved in her father’s investigation having known a victim who was killed. Soon strange things start happening, a photo moved in her apartment, a sticky ...
