I remember reading this book a while ago. It's over 15 yrs since it came out, but it's just as relevant now as it was then. Is the obesity problem in USA down to clever marketing by the fast food chains? Well from the book the answer seems to be yes. Not only are big multi- national corporations involved here, but there's also to a large extent political propaganda being enforced into the nations conscience to promote and support the multi nationals right down through to the Mc Donalds and KFC's of this world.
