I gave into the hype as soooo many other women and men have. I heard so much about it from friends and family I just couldnt resist.

I will admit that I am no prude, I have had my share of experiences, that said reading this book, gripped me from the very start. The characters were easy to understand and like/dislike, the story flowed easily and made sence from the beginning.

It is very well written and although there were a few hot flushes from me while reading, I did feel it lacked a few things during reading. Mr Grey is an amazing character and I do definatly want to meet him! I have updated my Facebook status a few times with 'Anastasia how could you?' or 'Off to spend some time with Mr Grey!' Once I started reading, I couldnt put it down and even started to read the ending chapters slowly because I didnt want the book to end.

Icarus references become tiring after a while, as does the amount the of climaxes one person can have in a day! I still love the book to death and having read it a second time find myself holding my breath at points even though I know what is going to happen.
