Now I'm not usually a fan of strategy guides, infact I think Final Fantasy X was the first game I bought a Strategy guide for. Not because I was stuck, I had already finished the game, more of a collectors item but it proved to be a lot more useful than I had ever though. It was originally one of those, buy it and stick it on your shelf purchases until it becomes worth something but in the end I was unable to sell it on ebay or anywhere else as it had practically been worn out through overuse. The Guide itself features a walk through of the entire game, giving strategies for every boss where items are hidden and resolutions to every puzzle. Now if your stuck ... Read the complete review

Final Fantasy; basically, THE first name you will hear uttered by any gamer, when asked about RPG's (role playing games). Quite simply, this is the definitive game; the game that other games aspire to be, but can never quite achieve. And there's a simple reason why...Final Fantasy has an element of magic, a way of drawing you in to the storyline and not letting you go...there is just something about the line of games that makes you sit back in your seat and think 'wow'. This guide is a good companion for the main game. I found it especially useful when I got to the first cloister of trials. It is especially handy when facing later stages of the game. The full guide includes a full description of the location your in, including item locations, map and mosters/bosses in the area. The Bestiary includes details on all mosters/bosses. Their HP, MP, Abilities, Weaknesses, Locations and Items/Gil acquired from them. The Aeon section reveals the best way to use the Aeons. Theyre abilities and talents. Like Bahamut with Strength and Valefor with long range attacks. Dark Aeons guide tells you the best ... Read the complete review

If you enjoy completing games 100% then this guide is an absolute must have item. I only bought this guide once I had pretty much completed the game, but I restarted and played through the game again using the guide. For the actual story mode itself the guide is perfect. It has maps of every area in the game, with all hidden treasures and side quests marked. It also goes into detail on the monsters in each area and which specific armour and weapons should be used. If you are stuck on a boss fight then they guide tells you at which point you should heal, magic, attack, summon, its spot on. As I said before if you want to do all the optional side ...
