There is a series of books titled "First Book of" including Words, Numbers, Shapes. Although their cover price is £3.99, Asda have sold them for 99p each. It is a super range of books which use photographs rather than illustrations of items such as food, toys, vehicles, etc. Both of my sons relate to the books and get satisfaction in pointing to the correct object.
